From the original ELCC post: Autumn leaves, little hands, and lots of creativity! 🍂🎨 Sometimes the simplest materials spark the biggest ideas. Leaf art invites children to explore colour, texture, and their own creative choices—one brushstroke at a time. At Early Learning Childcare Centre, we love learning through play. 💛 📍 Port Coquitlam • Coquitlam • Maple Ridge 🌐 www.earlylearningpoco.com #EarlyLearningChildcareCentre #PlayBasedLearning #FallActivities #AutumnArt #EarlyChildhoodEducation #PortCoquitlam #Coquitlam #MapleRidge
Learning through play can offer children opportunities to explore materials, practise communication, build independence and discover ideas alongside others. The value comes from engagement and curiosity, not just a finished product.
Our educators value developmentally appropriate, hands-on experiences and the everyday relationships that support children and their families.
