From the original ELCC post: Little hands, big discoveries! 👐🌈 A simple sensory bin can open up a world of exploration! As children scoop, sort, touch, and investigate different materials, they have opportunities to strengthen fine motor skills, practise problem-solving, and discover new ways to play alongside friends. Sometimes, the most meaningful learning happens in the simplest moments. 💛 At Early Learning Childcare Centre, we believe in creating opportunities for children to explore, experiment, and learn at their own pace. 📍 Port Coquitlam | Coquitlam | Maple Ridge, BC 🌐 www.earlylearningpoco.com #EarlyLearningChildcareCentre #SensoryPlay #PlayBasedLearning #EarlyChildhoodEducation #ToddlerActivities #PreschoolLearning #BCChildcare #LearningThroughPlay
Learning through play can offer children opportunities to explore materials, practise communication, build independence and discover ideas alongside others. The value comes from engagement and curiosity, not just a finished product.
Our educators value developmentally appropriate, hands-on experiences and the everyday relationships that support children and their families.
