From the original ELCC post: A little independence goes a long way! 🚗🌈 Choosing a piece, trying different possibilities, and discovering where it belongs—these simple moments give children opportunities to think, experiment, and build confidence. At Early Learning Childcare Centre, we believe children deserve the space and time to explore activities at their own pace. Sometimes the learning is found in the trying, not just the finished puzzle. 💛 📍 Tri-Cities & Maple Ridge, BC www.earlylearningpoco.com #IndependentLearning #PlayBasedLearning #EarlyChildhoodEducation

Learning through play can offer children opportunities to explore materials, practise communication, build independence and discover ideas alongside others. The value comes from engagement and curiosity, not just a finished product.

Our educators value developmentally appropriate, hands-on experiences and the everyday relationships that support children and their families.
