ELCC 2026-10-21: Curiosity is a wonderful place to begin!

This ELCC static photo or illustration was shared on 2026-10-21, documenting how children learn, explore and connect through everyday play.

Original ELCC caption: Curiosity is a wonderful place to begin! 🌿🧩 Stacking, arranging, collecting, and experimenting with everyday learning materials allow children to explore new possibilities. There isn't always one correct way to play. Giving children room to make their own choices encourages independence, creativity, and problem-solving. At Early Learning Childcare Centre, we believe meaningful learning grows through self-directed exploration. 💛 📍 Tri-Cities & Maple Ridge, BC www.earlylearningpoco.com #LearningThroughPlay #ChildDevelopment #BCChildcare

What this experience illustrates: hands-on materials and supportive relationships can encourage curiosity, communication, confidence and early development. Children benefit from open-ended opportunities rather than only a fixed final result.
