ELCC 2026-10-23: A day at the pumpkin patch!
This ELCC classroom video was shared on 2026-10-23, documenting how children learn, explore and connect through everyday play.
Original ELCC caption: A day at the pumpkin patch! 🎃🍂🌻 Sometimes, the best classroom has no walls! Our little explorers enjoyed an autumn adventure filled with pumpkins, colourful displays, fresh air, and exciting things to discover. Field trips offer children meaningful opportunities to experience the world beyond their familiar surroundings. From observing nature and discovering seasonal changes to sharing experiences with friends, every little moment can inspire curiosity and learning. 💛 At Early Learning Childcare Centre, we believe play-based learning goes beyond the classroom. Here's to little adventures and wonderful childhood memories! 📍 Port Coquitlam • Coquitlam • Maple Ridge, BC 🌐 www.earlylearningpoco.com #EarlyLearningChildcareCentre #PumpkinPatchFieldTrip #OutdoorLearning #PlayBasedLearning #NatureBasedLearning #EarlyChildhoodEducation #BCChildcare #AutumnAdventures
What this experience illustrates: hands-on materials and supportive relationships can encourage curiosity, communication, confidence and early development. Children benefit from open-ended opportunities rather than only a fixed final result.
