ELCC 2026-10-27: Little stories, big imaginations!

This ELCC static photo or illustration was shared on 2026-10-27, documenting how children learn, explore and connect through everyday play.

Original ELCC caption: Little stories, big imaginations! 🎃📚✨ A little Halloween magic during story time! From a glowing pumpkin to a friendly ghost story, our little learners enjoyed a special moment of storytelling together. 👻💛 Story time offers wonderful opportunities for children to build vocabulary, practise listening, explore their imaginations, and connect with their friends. At Early Learning Childcare Centre, we love how simple moments of reading together can create meaningful learning experiences. A little creativity, a little curiosity, and plenty of imagination! 🍂 📍 Port Coquitlam • Coquitlam • Maple Ridge, BC 🌐 www.earlylearningpoco.com #EarlyLearningChildcareCentre #HalloweenStoryTime #EarlyLiteracy #PlayBasedLearning #LearningThroughPlay #EarlyChildhoodEducation #BCChildcare #PreschoolActivities #StoryTime

What this experience illustrates: hands-on materials and supportive relationships can encourage curiosity, communication, confidence and early development. Children benefit from open-ended opportunities rather than only a fixed final result.
