ELCC 2026-10-29: Little hands, curious minds, and endless discoveries!
This ELCC classroom video was shared on 2026-10-29, documenting how children learn, explore and connect through everyday play.
Original ELCC caption: Little hands, curious minds, and endless discoveries! 🍂🧩💛 Who knew a few colourful letters, shapes, autumn leaves, and pieces of yarn could offer so many opportunities to learn? From exploring letters and arranging patterns to creating with paper and experimenting with natural materials, our little learners are discovering new possibilities through play. Each activity encourages curiosity, coordination, problem-solving, and independence. And sometimes, the most meaningful part isn't the finished activity. It's the experimenting, trying again, and learning alongside friends. 🌈 At Early Learning Childcare Centre, we believe every child deserves opportunities to explore, create, and discover at their own pace. Little moments. Meaningful learning. 💛 📍 Port Coquitlam • Coquitlam • Maple Ridge, BC 🌐 www.earlylearningpoco.com #EarlyLearningChildcareCentre #PlayBasedLearning #LearningThroughPlay #EarlyLiteracy #FineMotorSkills #PreschoolActivities #ToddlerLearning #EarlyChildhoodEducation #BCChildcare
What this experience illustrates: hands-on materials and supportive relationships can encourage curiosity, communication, confidence and early development. Children benefit from open-ended opportunities rather than only a fixed final result.
